I have an art and design education, so I can teach you the nuances of English as well as history in the arts. I am patient and care about teaching conversational English as well as grammatically correct English. I give examples about various types of accents and slang, compared to my own (North American). I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Photography, a post-grad in Fine Arts, and currently studying for a master's degree in Film Studies. I can also teach you Spanish! (Colombian-neutral accent).
I was born in Colombia but raised in the USA and Canada. My native languages are both English and Spanish. I speak Italian and can understand some French.
Yes and no. The easy part can be simpler conjugations, but the hard part is pronunciation!
That is a hard question, but I recommend spending at least 2 hours a week with a tutor. This is from my own experience learning a new language for a national exam.
