I am a Croatian psychologist and translator. I have experience in teaching, counseling, and translating. I am easy-going, creative, and attentive to students' needs and the pace of learning. If you are looking to learn Croatian in a creative and productive way, I am your best fit.
Croatian is a Slavic language that is spoken in Croatia and the neighboring Balkan states. For foreigners who don't speak Slavic languages, it can be quite challenging to learn Croatian. Some challenges of learning Croatian have to do with learning the grammar (declination, building sentences) and use of special characters, such as ć, č, š, ž. It takes longer to acquire basic proficiency in Croatian than in Spanish or English, not less than 2-3 months. However, once the grammar sits in place, it becomes easier and more intuitive (like with German).
As a psychologist, I am trained to notice interpersonal differences and competent in creating a learning environment that best fits your profile and needs.
