Cantonese and Mandarin are my first languages - can teach both. Have lots of teaching experience and I speak perfect English after 9 years in North America.

Chinese, both mandarin and Cantonese can be challenging but it’s easy to learn the most basic conversational topics.
Depends on what level of Chinese fluency one wants to get.
Depends on how good one wants to be and how much one already know about Chinese. If the goal is to learn about daily conversational Chinese language, four hours a week for a year should be a good start.
