Private Chinese / Mandarin Tutor in Hong Kong and Online

Hello

Having obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Preschool Education and Master’s Degree in Child and Family Education, I have a positive working attitude, possess relevant knowledge and good communication skills required for this job. I become more confident in teaching and handling parents’ problems as most of the courses I learned are tailored for the professional practice of early childhood education.
Children will be the masters of this society. Teachers are the initial person helping children adapt to the future. I hope to provide children with high-quality early childhood education, which can facilitate their progress with integrating into society.
Children are innate explorers. They explore in games by sensing, such as touching, tasting, hearing, sighting and smelling. As a kindergarten teacher, we are supposed to provide children with the freedom to explore, help them develop their potential according to the sensitive period and create a safe environment filled with freedom.
Just as early childhood is the foundation of our lives, the efforts we made in this stage are preconditions of future achievements. In our culture, we have a proverb saying that it is better to teach a man to fish than to give a man fish. Comparing to teaching children the knowledge, I would rather teach them the skills of acquiring knowledge. Therefore, I am going to cultivate children’s spirits of bold exploration, habits of thinking and attitudes of lifelong learning, wishing lifelong benefits to them.
Examples are better than words. French philosopher Joubert once said, ‘Children need role models, not critics.’ Children are deeply and easily affected by teachers. So, I am committed to being a role models for children, telling them the truth and wrong by what I do. I always believe that teaching benefits students as well as teachers. We learn as much from children as they do from us. I am eager to spend time with each unique child, accompanying and witnessing. Love and freedom should be the growth background of children.
