I have a Degree in English Literature, I started to work in Dubai in 2002 as an Arabic teacher for non_Arabs and Islamic and Qur'an teachers with K.H.D.A. approval. I teach the two levels of Arabic Language: Advanced Arabic “Classical” for school students, and spoken Arabic “Emirate accent” for adults "Corporate Training" for so many companies' staff all over Dubai. I worked in different kinds of schools: Indian, British, American, and International schools, IB, and PYP teachers.
For school students, should use Advanced "Standard" Arabic for the school curriculum. But for adults, they should use "Spoken Emirate Dialect".
It depends on the capacity of the learner : If he takes classes regularly, if he has Arabic friends for daily conversation, if he really insist on learning this Language,or if he had some basic information and use it in the right way to help him to go ahead with the language.
