My name is Hana Abdul Malak, I am Lebanese.
UAE has been my home since 1996, grateful to have the opportunity to live in this beautiful country.
I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 1993.
I carry three TESOL certifications ( Teaching English To Speakers Of Other Language ) for teaching Arabic, English, and French.
Teaching is my passion and I strongly believe that as an educator I should plan an easy and fun environment using multiple strategies and several techniques of differentiation considering the uniqueness of each and every child.
I always aim to help my students become independent, confident, and curious about the language, challenging them to grow in their learning and personalities.
When a child feels safe and loved, a warm and positive relationship will bloom to raise the quality of learning outcomes.
Back in Lebanon, I started my career as a social worker, working with blind students, planning, organizing, and conducting many learning camps to create an enjoyable and fun atmosphere for our students.
With the assistance of several university blind graduates, we have proudly established The Lebanese University League for the blind, creating a very different and effective association to elevate the quality of learning for blind students in universities.
When in Dubai, I joined a few very well-known local and international construction companies along with my tutoring practice from day one in UAE.
For the past 14 years, I worked at the Universal American school holding the position of Executive Assistant for Elementary School Principal then the Middle School Principal. Throughout this journey at UAS, I taught Arabic to non-native students at the Elementary school.
Since I lost my job at UAS I worked at Dunecrest as a supply teacher in addition to helping the early childhood department with their after-school daycare program.
I am very flexible and assure you that you will enjoy studying with me, I can also teach English and French to elementary students.
