Hard working and optimistic Afrikaans speaker. Afrikaans is a West - Germanic language. It could be know as the daughter language of Dutch. It is one of the most spoken languages in South Africa. I used to teach Afrikaans to students in my hometown in South Africa. I also took the subject in school and was one of the top of the class. Afrikaans is spoken by all members of my family and I have a great understanding of it. I thoroughly enjoy it as it is a beautiful and expressive language.
