As a mono-lingual who had never studied abroad and taught me English, I do understand students’ struggle for learning foreign languages. During the class, I have always tried to give them confidence and affirmation that it is totally fine if they made mistakes and get wrong and also teach the well-based grammar skills. What I care the most about learning new languages are the tutors’ patience and the student’s practice.
