Hello everyone! My name is Nuno Miranda, I am a Portuguese language teacher based in China for over 8 years now.
I am currently doing my Ph.D. while teaching at Hebei University. I also spend a lot of time in Macau, so I am always moving to the country.
I am specialized in grammar and text interpretation, but also teach spoken language, listening comprehension, and applied writing skills.
Even though currently I am teaching at the university level, I do have prior experience with youngsters as well as adults.
I can adapt to the learner's needs, be it starting from scratch up to just conversation practice.

How much time does it take to learn Portuguese in Macao?
It really depends on how many classes you would be taking as well as how much effort you are putting onto it outside the classroom. But let's say you have two classes a week, and you can afford one hour a day to review and practice. In a month you could master very basic conversations, such as self-presentation, asking for directions and prices.
