Private French Tutor in Sydney and Online

ONLINE LESSONS ONLY - I offer classes for all levels and ages, ranging from young children to retirees !
I also provide preparatory courses for entry into the French educational system or preparation for French competitions, including French language tests such as DILF / DELF / DALF, as well as entrance exams for French universities like Sciences Po, and more.
For more advanced learners who wish to delve deeper into French culture, I offer courses in French culture, French history, and art history.
I teach both in-home, through video conferencing (Zoom), or in a mutually agreed public location (such as a quiet café).

Here's a brief biography about me :) :
I grew up and completed my education within the French academic system. Currently, I am studying social sciences at Sciences Po Paris, a highly regarded university in Paris, and I recently earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from La Sorbonne. I have recently arrived in Sydney to pursue my studies, and I am excited to have the opportunity to share French culture here ! ;)

For several years, I have worked as an activity leader with children aged 5 to 17 at holiday camps in France. Subsequently, I have spent several years working as a private tutor within a home tutoring company in Paris. In this role, I specifically assisted high school students in preparing for the French section of the baccalaureate exam. I also taught French, English, history, and French literature to students aged 11 to 17. My background, which combines experience working with children and education, has sparked a strong interest in pedagogical methods. I have obtained a C1 certification in English (IELTS test), so I am able to teach absolute beginners in French.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is French easy to learn?

French is easy to learn if the right method is adopted with a good teacher and if we have fun during the lesson !
In my classes, I include the four essential language skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, oral expression, and written expression. I ensure that my lessons are enjoyable for the student (through discussions, adapting to the student's expectations and desires), while also maintaining rigor and high standards. I may also assign homework each week to accelerate progress even further. I assure you that learning French is straightforward with me ;)

Is it difficult to learn French in Sydney?

It is inevitably less easy to learn French in Sydney than in France, as there are fewer people speaking French here. But I promise you that you can make rapid progress in French with me :)
