Hello! I was born and raised in America but I come back to Vietnam every year to visit my family and friends. I graduated from UC Berkeley and am currently doing my master's program to be a high school teacher. I am very passionate about teaching. I currently tutor Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean students in English. My students tend to let me know that after my lessons they feel more confident speaking English and my energetic and kind personality is helpful. I know English or any language, can lead to meaningful connections and help you in your future career endeavors and I'd like to help you with that!

How easy is it to learn English in Ho Chi Minh City?
This depends on the amount of work you are willing to put in. HCM City is a pretty international city so it's easier to learn in than say a place in the countryside of Vietnam. However, this is still dependent on the amount of work you are willing to do. Are you willing to eventually talk to foreigners or sign up for jobs that require your English? The opportunity is there.
Is English easy to learn?
Again, it depends. Anyone can learn it but it takes consistency and being willing to be uncomfortable and make mistakes. However, I do believe that having fun and experiencing the joy of it will make it a much more easier process.
